London Mission Trip

The 2012 London Olympics were 15 years in the making. Starting with the first bid in 1997, London finally won and got the nod to host the event in 2006 over New York City, Paris, and Moscow. It’s the only city in the world to host the Olympic Games three times.

The Ministry

On this mission trip to London you will minister alongside the people at Trinity-at-Bowes Church. The Palmer’s Green area of London is a melting-pot of nationalities; men and women from Eastern Europe, Africa, the Middle East, India and other continents fill the flats in this area. This provides a whole lot of opportunities for cross-cultural ministry to Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists…and everything in between.

Adventure

London is adventure! When you’re not ministering, you’ll be exploring The British Museum, The Tower Bridge (the original “London Bridge”), Piccadilly Circus, or maybe even taking in a play down in the West End. And while you’re at it, go ahead and grab a fish-and-chips supper!

Spiritual Growth

This mission trip to London isn’t easy. You’re going to experience God in new and powerful ways as you share the Gospel in a post-Christian society, and with so many different people groups and belief systems. But you’ll experience God’s faithfulness; it’s not called the Good News for nothing!

New Friends

Friendships develop fast as you travel to “the other side of the pond.” You will forge deep friendships as you minister together in so many ethnically diverse regions of London. At the end of a hard day of ministry you will appreciate the time with your friends to worship and praise the Lord together. You are going to learn about Kingdom love and develop friendships that honor the Lord and make Him smile.

God will use your team members to help you understand how much He loves you and to move you closer to Him in true worship. You will go home at the end of the summer with a new understanding of the power of a quality relationship.
